Hiring platform opens marketplace of pre-hire assessments for its 40,000+ customers.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – SmartRecruiters, the hiring platform, today debuted its Assessment Center, taking the next step in its mission to make hiring easy. SmartRecruiters provides a collaborative hiring software, and now with the opening of the Assessment Center, employers can easily qualify a candidate’s behaviors, skills and references to make smarter hiring decisions.
“Pre-hire assessments have become a powerful predictor of performance, retention and job satisfaction,” said Josh Bersin, Principal Deloitte Consulting LLP and founder of Bersin & Associates, now known as Bersin by Deloitte. “Many organizations need an integrated recruitment platform such as SmartRecruiters to deliver and manage the wide variety of assessments on the market.”
The Assessment Center offers SmartRecruiters’ customers thousands of different candidate tests across behavioral assessments, skills tests, and reference checks; launch partners are the innovative gamified psychometric assessment provider ConnectCubed, leading provider of predictive talent selection solutions Chequed and top social web assessment provider Findly.
“Having the Assessment Center available within our SmartRecruiters platform will be a huge advantage for us,” said the The Onion’s Recruiting and HR Manager Katie Pontius. “SmartRecruiters enables us to run an efficient and organized operation without the extra steps or heavy lifting. This feature will save us even more time and allow us to focus on what we really want to be doing – recruiting.”
SmartRecruiters and its customers will rate and review the performance of each assessment and its recommendation engine will present the best assessment for each position and company type.
“By entering the SmartRecruiters platform, we are reaching new customers, and ultimately serving as part of a better hiring experience for small and large companies alike,” said Find.ly Chief Revenue Officer John Kelly.
Interested assessment providers can join the open platform here and start selling their assessments in the SmartRecruiters Store, similarly to how apps are sold in App Stores.
“At the end of the day, SmartRecruiters exists to make hiring top talent easy,” said SmartRecruiters CEO Jerome Ternynck. “The Assessment Center integrates our extensive talent sourcing and candidate management capabilities with the best-in-class candidate assessment providers.”
