There are so many variables that come into play when picking a job.  The first thing that comes to mind is usually salary or the company’s reputation in the eyes of the public.  However, often overlooked is company values and culture, something that is harder to figure out throughout the interview process.  To learn about a company’s culture, you need to ask good questions in your interview process.  Check out their Facebook and Twitter company page to learn about a company’s employer brand.  Joining a company with a positive culture that shares your values is so important in the long run.  The company’s culture impacts how passionate you are about your work and company, your work morale, and your overall attitude towards your career. How you prioritize your job search will go a long way toward how much you enjoy your work.
